![]() ![]() I went there in Summer and the beach was not walkable without shoes on.shells and trash everywhere, bird poop everywhere, just was not pleasant. In my opinion, Breakers beach is way overrated. They also have a great waterpark (separate charge). I could ride Millenium Force 20x in a row and not be bored.so smooth, 310ft high, 90+ mph, and it takes 2.5 minutes, whereas Top Thrill goes 100ft higher and 120mph, but is over in 17 seconds. My favorite ride is still Millenium Force, followed by Maverick (doesn't go high but it is crazy exciting), then Raptor (have to sit in front row of Raptor or you won't see anything), then Top Thrill Dragster. Even "oldies but goodies" like the Raptor are amazing but get overshadowed by the new fancy ones. Last thing, don't discount the regular rides.they have some awesome ones that don't get many lines. Any time saved is better than none, so if it is worth it to you, due to your circumstances, then go for it and enjoy and don't second guess yourself.Īlso, if you plan to spend all day in the park, the hotel is only for sleeping and showering, so does it matter if you have a nicer one? As long as the other place isn't a dump (never been so I don't know), it should suit your needs just fine. That said, if you are spending all the money to come this far, and it is no skin off your back to get it, then get it. ![]() Maverick and Top Thrill Dragster (and now their new ride) will probably have lines you actually get to shortcut, whereas everything else will be "walk up" and wait less than 5 minutes with or without it. In May, it will probably be the same thing. You SHOULDN'T need fast lane plus on May weekdays.I got one on a weekday in the Summer and it only helped on two rides.to clarify, it shortened my waits, but only by a couple minutes on most rides. It isn't like you are making a 2 hour drive and you can just come back if lines are long, weather is crappy, etc. If you are coming all the way from Australia to go to Cedar Point, you should do and spend whatever is needed to make sure you have the trip you desire. Hopefully they get it fixed for the next guest.Answer: Tim, I have a slightly different outlook on this. The carpet was soaked in the morning, so we reported it when we left. My oldest daughter was on the pull out couch and said the noise bothered her most of the night. The only issue we had is that the AC in our room leaked all night long. Our room was still spacious and even had a pull out couch and balcony. We also had the option of upgrading our room to a themed "wolf den" however we opted to stick with our "plain jane" room as we didn't intend to spend a lot of time in it. It had some singing and animatronics and was probably more suited for a younger crowd. Our two youngest went to a show in the foyer at the end of the night. They have a few kids activities and shows that are included in your stay or you can upgrade to participate in more inclusive activities. My girls also loved the basketball goals above the pool and spent a big chunk of their time there playing "horse" in the water. There is a large Jacuzzi area that is "adults only" and my hubby and I enjoyed a few minutes of peace and quiet while the kids played. There is not a strong current in the "lazy river", so it was a little underwhelming. I tried it myself and it was quite challenging. ![]() Our kids loved trying to cross the floating "logs" by holding onto a rope bridge above them. There are also a few smaller slides that are part of the large water playground. There are two large slides that require inner tubes that go outside the building and wrap back inside. While other reviews say this resort isn't up to par with other Great Wolf Lodge resorts, we have nothing to compare it to, as this was our first visit. ![]()
